Junior Technical Writer

The role of Junior Technical Writer (1 year contract) is an exciting and diverse opportunity to help drive our successful company’s rapid growth and be a contributing and instrumental member of our award winning company.

We currently seek a Junior Technical Writer (1 year contract), with the support of subject matter experts, to be responsible for the overall quality of Vanrx’s documentation content by creating, revising, or modifying standard operating procedures, work instructions technical documents, user manuals and etc. This position involves close interaction with multiple departments and must be able to facilitate meetings with SME’s to understand and interpret requirements.

  • Collaborate with various departments and subject matter experts to prepare, create, modify technical documentation.
  • Research and analyze technical documents and user manuals for clarity and understanding of the topic and/or product.
  • Interpret engineering designs and prepare in-depth documentation including technical specifications, descriptions, and operational process.
  • Assist in coordination and delivery of all technical documentation provided to customers.
  • Schedule, manage, and prioritize deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Assist engineering personnel and other stakeholders with review and editing of technical documentation.
  • Deliver high quality, accurate, and timely work to meet business goals.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Bachelors degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong ability to understand complex technical information and translate it into plain language.
  • Solid knowledge of technical writing and editing principles and process.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where demands and deadlines shift frequently.
