Quality Assurance Associate

Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Assurance Department in maintaining the Quality Management System
  • Assist with records maintenance and work closely with Technical Services to execute on time delivery of controlled customer documentation
  • Review and approve QMS deviations and investigations to ensure that corrective actions and change control have been implemented
  • Perform internal audits
  • Maintain training records and associated programs
  • Prepare, revise and review SOPs
  • Track metrics and report to management, as necessary

Required Skills and Experience

  • BSc. in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or Pharmacology, obtained or recognized by a Canadian university
  • 2+ years’ professional experience in Quality Assurance in a production environment with an established QMS
  • Cross functional work experience
  • Technical knowledge of GMP and audit experience strongly preferred
  • ISO9001:2015 experience an asset
