Warehouse Associate

We seek a Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations and the manufacturing of our advanced aseptic processing systems. This position requires routine interaction with manufacturing, quality, procurement and engineering teams.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, complete projects/objectives efficiently and will have the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Having excellent problem solving skills are also key for this role.

Vanrx Pharmasystems makes the most technologically advanced sterile filling solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Vanrx fill-finish machines use isolated robotics and machine vision to automate the packaging of injectable drugs into nested vials, syringes or cartridges.   • Process, package and ship orders in an efficient and accurately.
  • Schedule daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers
  • Create documentation for outbound shipments and track/trace shipments in transit.
  • Perform inventory transactions using our ERP system.
  • Receive, handle and store incoming inventory items. Organize inventory and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Perform parts picking activities as per the work order schedule.
  • Verify inbound and outbound items against packing list and/or commercial invoices.
  • Conduct cycle counts as per schedule.
  • Ensure effective communication is conducted amongst departments pertaining to       inventory and work orders.
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail approach in performing work, a strong ability to successfully work in teams and effectively work independently.
  • Ensuring day-to-day activities are performed in compliance of the safety program.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
  • Contribute and foster an environment which encourages, supports, and recognizes new ideas and initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, such as implementing new processes, equipment, etc.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience required

  • Minimum 1 year of shipping , warehouse and receiving experience
  • Valid forklift operator certificate
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Able to lift 35 lbs.
  • A post-secondary degree, equivalent diploma, or experience in Operations Management or Materials Management.
