What is the SA25 Aseptic Filling Workcell?

SA25 Aseptic Filling Workcells provide scalable, flexible filling capacity for sterile injectable manufacturing.

The SA25 is a gloveless robotic isolator. Robots perform all of the material handling, filling and closing activities within a completely closed isolator. The SA25 can fill nested syringes, vials and cartridges, with fast changeover times between formats of less than one hour.

Vanrx aseptic filling machines are designed and manufactured by the company in Vancouver, Canada.

The SA25 Aseptic Filling Workcell is a fully integrated machine built by a single provider.

Lead times are much shorter than those provided by competing companies, reducing overall project timelines to establish or add production capacity.

Automation technologies provide consistent processes for multi-product manufacturing  and future-proof the machine for advances in therapeutics. The SA25’s standard design means that adding capacity is simplified, and qualification / validation is a repeatable process.

Lyophilizer Loader and Accumulator Workcells

Two additional Workcells can add to the functionality of an SA25 Workcell.

The Lyo Loader Workcell automates the transfer of partially capped vials into a lyophilizer for freeze-drying. It can be integrated with lyophilizers from many manufacturers. Robotic loading within a nest eliminates problems caused by individual vials falling over, and limits product loss through breakage. 

Th Accumulator Workcell maintains an isolated environment between the SA25 Aseptic Filling Workcell and the Lyo Loader. It can hold finished product, transfer materials through to the Lyo Loader or buffer the filling process from the loading process.
